Happy Father's Day

I don't know about you but I have a really hard time making a masculine card. I love flowers and want to added them to everything but I don't think men would appreciate them like women do.

So the card I have to share today was fun because of the little critter relaxing but a little bit harder for me without adding a girly touch.

I started by stamping my images onto Cougar White Cardstock.

I colored them in using a Alcohol-Based Marker. I wanted some sparkle so I colored the hammock in with a blue sparkle pen.
I think that moose is too cute just hanging out and relaxing.

Trim a piece of Basis Cardstock in Golden Green down to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 this will be the base for the card. Trim a piece of Basis Cardstock in Light Brown down to 5 1/4 x 4 and Light Blue down to a little less then 5 x 3. For the grass I used  Pop Tones Cardstock in Jelly Bean Green cut down to 5 x 2 with one side cut as a wave for a hill. I inked the edges of the blue and green cardstock.

Attach the blue cardstock to the top of the brown cardstock leaving a little edge of brown sticking out then attach the green to the bottom in the same way.

Tuck the base of the trees under the green hill attach that cute little moose in the hammock between the two tree.

Stamp the Happy Father's day sentiment on to the brown cardstock attach it towards the bottom of the card in the shape of a banner. Use a pop dot in the middle to help it pop of the page a little bit.

Lastly attach the panel to the card base.

Thank you for stopping by today!
