Easy Embossed Holiday Card

Today we're wrapping up the Holiday Countdown series for 2018.  I hope you've enjoyed all of the inspiration for quick and simple holiday projects that the design team has shared over the past couple of weeks!

Today I'm sharing an easy holiday card idea...just in case you've accidentally missed someone on your list!

Start by trimming a piece of Basis Green, Gold Bright Foil, and Basis Red cardstock to 4.75" x 6.75", 4.875" x 6.875", and 5" x 7", respectively.  Then, trim a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock (110#) to 10" x 7" and score down the center to form a top-folding A7 card base.

Emboss the green panel with a festive design using an embossing folder.

Enhance the embossed design with metallic wax, embellishment mousse, or ink.  Here I applied gold wax lightly with my finger.

Die cut a sentiment from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.  Apply red ink to the die-cut, using a heavier hand towards the bottom for an ombre appearance.

Adhere the green embossed panel to the gold panel, followed by the red panel, using tape runner.  Tie festive ribbon around the corners if desired.

To finish the card off, glue the sentiment to center of the card front using liquid glue, then adhere the whole thing to the A7 card base using tape runner.

I hope you enjoyed this last-minute holiday card project idea and thanks so much for stopping by today!  You can visit the CutCardStock store to purchase any of the supplies showcase today and remember that green, red, and white cardstocks are on sale this month!
