New Year Gift Tags

Hello crafty friends! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. Right now I'm in that weird limbo between Christmas and New Year's where I've eaten WAY too much sugar and cheese, and I have no idea what day it is - LOL!

I've been feeling a little guilty because I usually take a little gift to my neighbors for Christmas, but things got crazy and it didn't get checked off my to-do list. But then I thought - ah! New Year gifts! Perfect! And the beauty of New Year gifts is, you can deliver them pretty much any time during the month of January, in my opinion!

I decided to make these fun gift tags to attach to my gifts. As you can see by my nails, I've been feeling very gold and glittery! So, I decided to carry that theme into my tags.

I started by cutting down some Cougar White Super Smooth Cardstock to a 3" x 5.5" tag. I cut an angle in 2 of the corners because I love that look.

For my tools, I used a small, soft tip brush pen, the 05 Micron Pen, and my beloved Uniball Pen in Gold.

I started by sketching out my idea in pencil. I then used either the brush pen or Micron pen to trace over the pencil sketch.

Once the black ink was in place and dried, I erased the pencil lines. Magical! Finally, I went in with the Uniball to fill in all the fun gold details.

Add some hole punches and a fun twine or ribbon. Voila! Ready to attach to your gift. I was originally thinking champagne, but my sugar rush is telling me that Kombucha might be a better choice? LOL!

Hope you all have a safe and happy new year! And don't forget - the Design Team Call is still open for applications! Come be a part of this fun and crafty group! XOXO, Erin @eringermandesign
