Curious Metallic Rosette Decorated Clothespin

Hello, everyone! My name is Samantha and I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing my very first design team project with you today. Even though Spring is not very far away it's still cold enough where I live to make staying in and crafting that much more appealing.

These decorated clothespins would make the perfect end of year teacher gifts or even small spring or Easter goodies. I've got quite a lot of them made for my son's teachers.

Let's get started! You will need the following:

Cut your Curious Metallic cardstock in Chestnut to 10.75" x 1". Cut two .5" circles from the Curious Metallic cardstock in Aquamarine Blue.

Use a border punch along the entirety of one long edge.

Score the strip at every .25" mark. Accordion fold on the score lines.

Apply a small line of hot glue to one end and connect to the other end.

Pinch the rosette into a circle like this. Apply a liberal amount of glue to the center and quickly attach one of the .5" circles. Repeat on the opposite side.

*Optional*
After gluing the rosette to the clothespin flip over and attach your neodymium magnets with your hot glue gun.

I hope that you'll try making your own rosettes. One of my favorite things about them is that you can resize them to fit whatever it is that you need them for; photo backdrops, garlands, etc.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and read my tutorial. I hope you have a fantastic day.

     Until next time,
     Samantha
