Partial Die-Cut Floral Card

Greetings Crafty Friends!  I am excited to share this card as part of the CutCardStock Influencer Group.
Here is the finished card. I will walk you through how I created it!

I started with a pink A2 landscape card base from the Botanical Core’dinations set. I also am using a 4.25 x 5.5-inch piece of Curious Metallic Cryogen cardstock to stamp and color the floral image. I love the sparkle and how well alcohol markers color on this product!

I lined the Cryogen piece up to the bottom of the card base and used additional adhesive to secure the entire thing. I used Gina K Almagan Ink and my MISTI tool to stamp the floral branch.

I taped the die in the appropriate place and lined up the edge of a cutting plate to cut the bottom of the image. Remember the Big Shot will only cut the section covered with both plates.

I lined up my Fiskars trimmer with the die-cut section and removed the bottom portion.

This is how it appears after removing the bottom plus a few smaller pieces.

Here is a close up of the flowers after I colored them with alcohol markers.  I also added a pearl to highlight the center.

I stamped the sentiment in Almagan ink to finish the card.

Here is the final card.  I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.  Be well. Be creative.
