3D Geometric B&W Card

I absolutely love coordinating colors, but sometimes simple black and white does the trick. Here's a fun card you can make with just black and white paper.

Supplies:
-Basis Cardstock in white
-Basis Cardstock in black
-Double-sided Adhesive Foam strips
-Silhouette Cameo cutting machine

First, I took a sheet of the white basis cardstock and printed out the "just for you" words that will be my tags. I love the Basis Cardstock because it's nice and thick but still goes through my printer really well. After printing, I cut out a geometric design out of the black cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.

After I had all my pieces cut out, I started to assemble. I cut my foam adhesive strips into smaller pieces and placed them on the backside of the geometric design. This created the 3D effect.

After adhering the geometric design to the card backing, I used more foam strips to place on the back of my tag shapes.

Once those tag shapes were adhered, I took a long strand of my favorite baker's twine and wrapped it around the top of the design to add a little more dimension.

And there you have it! Although black and white are the most basic colors, it's amazing how texture and design can add so much to a card.
