Mini Cards Design 3 of 5

Hello, hello! Samantha here with my third mini card design for my fun mini-series. If you haven't checked out the first two designs (here and here) make sure that you do.

Let's jump right in. You will need:

With your blue pigment ink (I'm using a blue ombre striped ink pad) stamp the word 'congrats' along the lower portion of both cards. Cover in clear embossing powder and heat set.

Stamp the full feathered peacock twice. Color in using your preferred medium and either die cut or fussy-cut-out. Cover the feathers in Wink of Stella or similar product. I colored mine using Spectrum Noir markers and used a Clear Spectrum Noir shimmer pen. I also like to go along the edges of images I fussy cut with a black marker. It gives them a really finished look.

Flip your peacocks over and adhere a few foam adhesive dots to the backs.

Place the birds in the centers of the cards.

I love how open-ended these are. You could give them for just about any celebratory occasion.
Make sure you're subscribed to the CutCardStock blog so that you don't miss the rest of the cards in this series or the handmade gift boxes to give them in.

Until next time,
Samantha
