Mini Card Gift Box Design 2 of 2

Hello, hello! Samantha here with my second mini card gift box design. This one uses one of my favorite paper crafting materials; acetate.
This box, like the first, is entirely handmade.

Let's begin. You will need:

To begin trim a sliver (approximately 1/8") from two sides of your acetate.

Score on all four sides at .75"

Apply red tape to the flaps and then cut the flaps after the score line. Close up photo to demonstrate what I mean.

Miter your corners. Repeat on all four sides.

Burnish well and remove the backing from your tape. Assemble your lid.

Repeat these same steps for the base, omitting the trimming. Score on all four sides at 1". For the base I used Score-Tape instead of red tape.

The acetate lid fits inside the cardstock base.
That's all. Decorate as you'd like!

Thanks so much for joining me in this fun series. Make sure you're subscribed to the blog because next I'm going to show you how to make both designs of my mini card gift boxes to fit A2 sized cards and envelopes.

Until next time,
Samantha
